THE HERINGER FAMILY

We have been having some fun with a lot of snow here in Kentucky. We thought that maybe our family would like to see some of the pictures we took yesterday. We have made the national weather news again. Here is how it went down, first it snowed and that was OK. Then we had freezing rain on top of the snow. Then it froze that way making a great big mess. Then it snowed again on top of that and then froze some more that way. Then we have a had a little more snow last night and more is expected.

  The water that has frozen to trees has now caused a lot of trees to come down. Fortunately ours are a little to small for that to be a problem.

It is very hard to drive in this mess and I imagine the police and state troopers have a never ending job during this week. Schools are out and in some places so is the electricity. We have been very fortunate that so far we have electricity. Then we have all underground utilities and that helps a lot.
